HOSPITALIZED ELTON JOHN'S PETERBOROUGH SHOW SOLD OUT IN JUST THREE HOURS!

The singer who was hospitalized for respiratory infection has been reported to be doing well in the hospital and also doing well are his show tickets.

Four thousand tickets for an Elton John concert this September in Peterborough, Ont., sold out in three hours on yesterday, Friday 25th May, 2012.

The lineup at the Memorial Centre grew as did frustrations when online sales froze.

Spokeswoman Sue Warrington says 2,200 people tried to order tickets as soon as the online box office opened at 10 a.m.

Rachel Jenkins of Lakefield, Ont., says she and a friend in Mississauga, Ont., tried unsuccessfully to purchase tickets for more than an hour.
