President Jonathan Lied, I Spent More on the Military in 1984/85 than Goodluck in the Last 6 Years! - Buhari

APC's Presidential candidate for the February 14, 2015 Presidential election has countered President Goodluck Jonathan's claims that the Jonathan administration spent more on the military than the Buhari/Idiagbon combination of 1984/85. 
According to information made available by Dele Alake (Buhari's aide), 
in 1984/85, Buhari spent 38.86% of the military budget on military hardware, whereas the Yar'Adua/Jonathan of 2007-2010 administration spent 34.67% of military budget on military hardware. Whereas the Goodluck/Sambo govt gave only 10% to military hardware in the 2014 budget.

Man Sentenced to 14-Months in Jail for Trying to Smuggle Wife into Britain in a Suitcase!

Bodgen Croitor a Latvian who tried to smuggle his wife into Britain inside a suitcase was stopped by immigration officials as he arrived at the car port in Dover, Kent, having caught a ferry from Calais in France. He insisted she was refused a visa twice. 30 year-old Croiter had permission to live in UK but his Moldovan-born wife had twice been refused the right to come to the country.

He later told officials how he had travelled to Calais in October last year to spend the weekend with his wife and claimed she suggested hiding in the suitcase.

He was given a 14 month jail sentence suspended for two years, told to do 100 hours of unpaid work for the community and pay £400 costs. But Judge Adele Williams suspended the jail sentence after he admitted the charge. In her words, ‘You could have absolutely no complaint if I had sent you to prison straight away because those who commit this offence normally always go to jail immediately. But I take the view that the way you committed this offence does have extraordinary mitigating circumstances attached to it.’

According to a resident, insurgents arrived early Wednesday through the southern part of the Biu, and moved to take over the army barracks there.

Boko Haram has tended to, particularly around something like an election, use political issues or sensitivities to try to enflame tensions... We have seen that as one of their tactics and that is why it is so important to move forward with the election, because we believe it's important."

Boko Haram Commits the Deadliest Attack in Nigeria, Kill Over 2000 Nigerians on Saturday! Corpses Still Litter Bushes Tuesday...

Well, atleast we all know President Goodluck spent 98 days before he agreed to meet the parents of the kidnapped Chibok girls in Abuja and not even in the geographical zone of the kidnap added to the fact that 48 hours after a bomb blast killed scores in Nyanya, Abuja was seen dancing at a political rally in Kano, as if he was celebrating the demise of the dead.

INEC Lied! Unavailable PVC's Still Not at the Local Governments Days to Presidential Elections!

Just 31 days to Nigeria's Presidential election, permanent voter's cards are still not available for registered voters. A visit to Alimoso local government in Lagos, today, Tuesday, 13th February 2015 shows that the local government with the highest number of registered voters showed that over 250,000 voters' cards are still not available from the headquarters in Abuja. WARD 10 alone has 83 units with unavailable PVCs. And with an average of 500 voters per unit, your guess is as good as mine.
An official of the commission who spoke on condition of anonymity said, "if the voters cards are not available now only God knows if they will, before the Presidential elections." 
With the number of local governments in Lagos this puts the number of voters with no available PVCs at over one million.

One of the Suspects in Yesterday's Terrorist Attack that Killed 12 people Surrenders to the French Police

The 18-year old among the three men sought by French police over Wednesday's shooting attack at satirical weekly magazine Charlie Hebdo which left twelve people including two policemen dead has handed himself voluntarily to police in northeastern France, according to an anonymous official at the Paris prosecutor's office said. The three suspects on the wanted list are French nationals, brothers Said Kouachi, born in 1980; Cherif Kouachi, born in 1982; and Hamyd Mourad born in 1996, the suspect had turned himself in at a police station in Charleville-Mézières, in northeastern France at around 2300 GMT. BFM TV.

Boko Haram Now Controls Borno (Nigeria) Borders withNiger, Chad and Cameroon... Might Move Southwards

With Boko Haram seizing a key town of Baga and military base in Nigeria's far northeast and the headquarters of the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) the insurgent, Boko haram now controls all three of Borno state's borders with Niger, Chad and Cameroon. Terrorists Attack Newspaper House in France Kill 12, Injure 12 Others... Photos and More...

According to the French police, 2 police officers and 10 others including the editor and four cartoonists were shot dead in a terrorist attack at the France office of the newspaper, Charlie Hebdo. Witnesses said that at least two gunmen were involved, and that they were seen armed with AK-47s and pump-action shotguns and a rocket launcher. Four of France’s best-known satirical cartoonists, including the magazine's editor, were among the dead. A further 12 people were injured.

Charlie Hebdo has come under pressure ever since it published a Muhammad issue in 2011 and other follow-ups.. Its website has been hacked, and Charbonnier has needed police protection. Riot police guarded the magazine's offices after the 2012 issue hit the stands. The newspaper is known to publish cartoons of the pope, political leaders and more. "(Even) Some Governors Do not Have their Permanent Voter's Cards Yet" - President Goodluck

While decrying the inability of many Nigerians to get their permanent voter's cards, President Goodluck Jonathan on Wednesday directed the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Prof. Attahiru Jega, to ensure that all registered Nigerians get their Permanent Voter Cards before the general elections in February. After swearing in INEC national commissioner representing Oyo State, Prof. Akinola Salau, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja. He said, “So the chairman of INEC, all Nigerians must get voters cards; we cannot conduct an election where some people will not have the rights to vote. “People must decide who rules them at all levels; not just about presidential elections, even at the lowest level of elections conducted by INEC – the state assembly elections, House of Representatives, Senate and Presidency, all Nigerians must vote... INEC must do everything possible to make sure that all Nigerians have their voter cards because we cannot afford a situation where some Nigerians will not vote that day.” He added that some state governors are complaining that they have yet to get their PVCs. He argued that if state governors could be complaining, it means that many Nigerians are yet to get their cards. “To me, I am quite pleased, not pleased in the negative sense, about the awareness that has come on board that Nigerians want to have their voter cards... Before 2011, no Nigerian complained about voter cards and that’s why when some politicians talk, I just laugh... Before 2011, how many Nigerians complained about not having voters card? Because elections were not conducted with voters cards, nobody cared... That today, ordinary Nigerians, biggest business men, religious leaders are complaining that they want their voter cards, nobody talked about that before 2011...So people should commend us and I am pleased that people are talking about voter cards.”

64 year-old WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler who had a heart attack while in professional wrestling action in 2012 has been hospitalized again. He has been in the hospital for the last several days. Why? It's hiss intestines this time around - diveticulitis.

 “diverticula are small, bulging pouches that can form in the lining of your digestive system. They are found most often in the lower part of the large intestine (colon). Diverticula are common, especially after age 40, and seldom cause problems. Sometimes, however, one or more of the pouches become inflamed or infected.

Current WWE champion, Brock Lesnar too was out for months while in UFC due to diverticulitis. It took him from a fighting weight of 285, to under 250. For a man who was mostly muscle, this was quite a lot lost. To many, this ended up costing him his UFC Heavyweight Title and last fight. The condition causes a lot of abdominal pain, nausea, and even a fever.
